The Design Story

When I was hand-weaving the initial layout for this piece, I wanted to play with a more fluid, tactile construction that drapes comfortably against the wrist. I linked a flexible beaded chain of vibrant green malachite discs, interrupting the natural rhythm with a beautifully asymmetrical drop consisting of a delicate gold hoop and a luminous freshwater pearl. It’s a deliberate blend of structure and soft motion, designed to feel entirely unstudied and personal—like an organic treasure gathered on a far-flung journey.
